Aquaculture Research Operations Manager


 

Aquaculture research at Cawthron is transforming the way New Zealand farms sea food. We’re looking for an enthusiastic operations manager to join our team in Nelson, someone keen to be a part of our future and our vision for a productive, sustainable seafood sector.

We work closely with the aquaculture industry, applying a practical multidisciplinary approach to solving their problems. We lead research in a number of key areas including hatchery production, shellfish and finfish physiology, health, selective breeding, algae production and new species development as well as open ocean aquaculture research. 

Aquaculture Research Operations Manager

We are looking for a person to join our team who can help manage our aquaculture systems and research operations. At least 7 years experience working in aquaculture research facilities, hatchery operations or aquaculture design and systems is required. 

Successful candidates will be enthusiastic team players with proven leadership skills that demonstrate initiative and a collaborative approach.
